Before you start
This page is for server admins and payers deciding whether to use Premium. It shows what the free plan includes and what Premium changes today. Prices and terms are not repeated here: see the Plans page for prices, and Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation for the conditions.
The 11 features for handling temporary voice channels are open on every plan today. There are no Premium-only features yet. But five numeric limits and the record retention periods differ between Free and Premium. The sections below go through them one by one.
What the free plan includes
The 11 features for handling temporary voice channels, such as renaming a room, setting a size limit, locking, handing over ownership, kicking, allow/block lists and remembered settings, are open on Free and Premium alike. In-house matches and team balance, tiers and leaderboards are not Premium-only either.
The Plans page says above its comparison table: “features you use for free today won't become paid.” What separates Free from Premium today is not features but the limits and record-retention periods below.
The five limits Premium changes today
- Rooms one person can have open at once: up to 3 on Free servers. Premium servers have no per-person limit.
- Rooms the whole server can have open at once: 10 on Free, 50 on Premium. Premium servers have this limit too.
- Trigger channels per server: 5 on Free, 15 on Premium.
- Allow/block entries (people) per room (channel): 50 on Free, 200 on Premium.
- AI summaries per server per month: 5 on Free, 50 on Premium. An AI summary condenses the feedback collected for an in-house match. It is only available when Kletoi has switched it on, and there is no server setting for it. What that feedback is, is in No-shows, marks and MVP.
The two room-count limits are checked when a new room is created from a trigger channel. Rooms that are already open are not closed. The same numbers are in the Plans comparison table. The details are in How many rooms can be open at once for the room-count limits, in Create or change a trigger channel for the trigger limit, and in Allow, block, knock and invite for the allow/block limit.
What happens after Premium ends is in the “After Premium ends” item of Terms of Service §5 and in Privacy Policy §4.1. How triggers over the limit look is in Create or change a trigger channel.
When you hit a limit
Adding more trigger channels
/admin add-triggerOnly people with Manage Server can use it. The same limit applies when you add a trigger in the web consoleWhen a Free server reaches 5, you see “You've reached the trigger-channel limit — upgrade to Premium to add more.” When a Premium server reaches 15, you see “You've reached the maximum number of trigger channels — remove one to add another.” How to add and remove triggers is in Create or change a trigger channel.
Adding allow/block entries
If a room already has 50 entries (people) on Free and you add another person with the /voice allow or /voice deny command, you get “You can single out at most 50 people in this room.” (on Premium servers the same notice shows 200). In the web console you see “This room has reached the limit of people who can be singled out. Clear some people's access to bring the number down, then try again.” Premium servers allow 200 entries (people). Switching someone already on the list between allow and block, and removing entries, do not count against the limit. How to manage the list is in Allow, block, knock and invite.
Generating an AI summary
When the server has used up the month's limit (5, or 50 on Premium), the AI summary box of a match that has no summary yet shows “You've hit this month's summary limit” in the match console. An AI summary condenses the feedback collected for an in-house match. The details are in No-shows, marks and MVP.
When a room is not created
If you join a trigger channel and no room is created, the bot tells you why. The notice and what to do next are in How many rooms can be open at once.
You worked out which of the five above is blocking your server. If one matches, the number in the list above is that plan's limit.
Record retention differs too
Servers with Premium keep the admin action log for 180 days (30 on Free) and voice activity records for 182 days (35 on Free). AFK auto-move records are kept for 30 days on every plan. The rules, and what happens after Premium ends, are in Privacy Policy §4.1.
Check which plan your server is on
Where do you want to do this?
In the web console
Look in the web console
The Current plan card at the top shows Free plan or Premium. The plan line at the bottom of the left menu shows the same thing. Only people with Manage Server can open the Premium screen. Logging in and a tour are in A tour of the web console and logging in.
In Discord
Use the server settings command
/admin show-configLook at the Plan line. Only people with Manage Server can use it, and it works in any channelInside a room, check the room info
/voice infoThe Plan line shows Free or ✅ Premium. It works only while you are inside a temporary voice channelYou saw your server's plan in the Current plan card of the console or in the Plan line of the /admin show-config result.
How to start Premium
Premium is a subscription per server. Someone with Manage Server starts it.
Start from the pricing page
Press the Get Premium button on the Plans page. If you are not logged in, the Discord login screen opens first. If Kletoi is in exactly one server you manage, that server's Premium screen opens right away. If there are several, you pick one.
If Kletoi is not in any server you manage, you are asked to add the bot first. You can also start from Premium in the console's left menu.
Pick a plan and register a card
Choose Monthly or Yearly, then press the Start a subscription button. The price shows as the same value in this panel and on the Plans page.
Above the plans you see “Register a card to pay right away and unlock Premium.” and next to the button you see “A card registration window opens · nothing is charged at this step.”
Read the automatic-payment notice above the Start a subscription button and the consent line below it. The conditions for renewal, cancellation and refunds are set by Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation. This page does not repeat them.
After you subscribe, scheduling a cancellation and changing the card are done in the Manage subscription panel of the same screen. Where the buttons are and what each one does is in Manage or cancel your subscription. Refund conditions are set by Refund & Cancellation.
Once the payment goes through, the Current plan card on the console's Premium screen changes to Premium.
The Premium screen opens only with Manage Server permission. A payer without that permission can cancel under Payments and subscriptions on their home page and contacts the address given on Refund & Cancellation for refund questions.
Where to go next
For the room-count limits, read How many rooms can be open at once. To add or remove trigger channels, see Create or change a trigger channel. The allow/block lists are in Allow, block, knock and invite. For prices see the Plans page, and for conditions see Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation.
